Biocraft XT Fly rods are aimed at fly fishermen who have a limited budget but want excellent casting performance and features. In addition to the traditional styles of Fishing to fly in streams and still waters, three "Big Bug/Saltwater" predator models and an extraordinary nymph model are also available.
If you are a fly fisherman who prefers not to spend a fortune on a single rod, the Biocraft XT will be for you. There are thousands of anglers like you, which is why we developed the Biocraft XT range. Completely reliable, with a fantastic weight/strength ratio, the Biocraft XT comes to life in the hands and is able to compete with rods costing significantly more. If you are a stream angler you will appreciate the sensitivity, if you are a still water angler you will love the casting performance and for predator or saltwater anglers the Biocraft XT has all the power you will need.
Each Biocraft XT rod has a carbon blank enriched with Biofibre and Diaflash. This combination allows for a fantastic weight-to-strength ratio and adds additional strength in the more powerful models, allowing them to be used safely for large predators and ultra-fast saltwater species.
The rods have been designed and tested by the same team of experts who worked on the premium Biocraft XR range, so, as you would expect, there are notes of excellence dotted throughout the range. Each rod's couplings have been selected for their performance characteristics based on the tool's application. Seaguide and Fuji Alconite guides ensure lightness and strength, Seaguide reel seats pair perfectly with traditional cork handles and each rod comes with a velvet bag. All models are in three or four sections for convenient transportation.
