  Characteristics:

  - Hagane Gear: With its extraordinary resistance and durability it is the true heart of the reel. Shimano, through Cold Forging technology, allows you to have the same feeling of pleasure and fluidity you feel when you use a new reel, perpetuated over time. No cut is made on the teeth of the Drive Gear. The entire surface is in fact calculated in detail through a special 3D design and made thanks to the Shimano cold forging technology.
  - Micromodule II: a more rounded finish on the surface of the microds leads to a more fluid rotation sensation.
  - X Ship: it is a combination of characteristics that work together to create greater efficiency. Thanks to the positioning of the pignon near the center of the large -sized Gear drive, more power is transferred from the crank to the rotor. The pigno is also supported by two A-RB Shimano bearings. This creates more stability, fluidity and power.
  - Hagane Body: it is the reel body with very high rigidity. The stiffness of the material of the body and the resistance to impacts virtually eliminate the flexions of the body, which means transforming the actions of the fisherman into power without this being dispersed: efficiency by resistance.

Thanks to this treatment, these bearings last at least 10 times more than normal standard ball bearings in stainless steel, in high salinity environments. These SA-RB shielded bearings use stainless steel or steel protection (depending on the size of the bearing) to maximize corrosion protection and external agents such as sand, salt or dust.
