Combining the convenience of a telescopic frame with a powerful casting action, the Speedmaster Surf Telescopic sits at the heart of the Shimano Tele surf range and offers a fantastic combination of high performance and quality.
Designed with an extra fast tip action, this great looking rod range allows you to really dial up the power when you need extra distance, but still maintain the sensitivity to show bites from smaller fish when using a lighter line approach.


The Speedmaster's power is generated by a High Modulus Full Carbon blank, combined with Diaflash reinforcement in the handle section. This combination generates remarkable responsiveness, which is definitely noticeable when casting leads towards the upper end of the casting rating or when facing strong winds.
The stunning blue blank features stainless steel Fuji Fazlite K guides, which are corrosion resistant, lightweight and reduce friction. If you use braid, you'll be happy to know that the Fazlite coatings on the rings are also safe for braid. To accommodate large surfcasting reels, a Fuji DPS reel seat sits perfectly on the blank and has been positioned to allow you to create maximum leverage with your bottom hand when casting.
Available in three options (4.30m - 170g, 4.50m -- 170g, 4.50m - 200g), the Speedmaster Surf Telescopic is the ideal rod for keen anglers, where casting power combined with sensitivity is required.
