The Technium AS trout area rods are specifically designed to maximize the performance of Fishing with small hardbaits and spoons. Ultra light and thin, the Technium AS's premium action is semi-parabolic to improve casting and fish retrieval when using light lines and barbless hooks.
The Technium AS offers small diameters with excellent performance. Paired with a small Shimano 1000 or 2000 spinning reel, you get a set-up that even the best Trout Area anglers would be happy to use. You can't help but notice how well the Technium AS casts, even when using the smallest spoons, weighing less than 1g. But it is when you hook a trout that the rod shows its true values: it bends gently along its entire length, absorbing escapes and headbutts from the hooked trout.
The Technium AS Full Carbon blanks are in line with the latest requirements for Trout Area rods. Lightweight, ultra-thin and with perfect action, the addition of Shimano's exclusive Diaflash technology gives all four models the perfect amount of backbone to accurately cast ultra-light lures and create spoons and micro hardbaits. To reinforce the quality of the design, Technium AS uses Fuji KR type guides with Fazlite coatings, which work particularly well with ultra-thin braided lines. The ergonomic Shimano IPS reel seat was chosen to ensure comfort and sensitivity and the split grip cork handle completes the modern and classic look. Available in four different models: two lengths and two powers, to best meet your needs.
