The Tribal TX-7 range has been designed to tackle the biggest waters and the most demanding casters. With strength and power at the forefront of the design, the range features some of Shimano Tribal's best long-distance models, whilst remaining thin, light and responsive.
If you fish in big waters, where you need to cast long distances, you will definitely like the TX-7. This rod broke the world record with 4oz lead with a cast of 247 yards!
The next generation was developed in the same spirit, but with more advanced technology, to break records again.

Picking up one of the two Intensity models, you'll immediately feel the power hidden in the incredibly thin blank, while the more conventional test curves between 2.75lb and 3.25lb offer a superb compromise between casting power and fish-fighting functionality.
With the addition of NANOSHEET technology and M40X carbon fiber, the blank becomes more responsive and has faster recovery after the cast. This will help you make the longest casts you have ever made. The new TX-7 range is strong and powerful, yet very forgiving when fighting fish under the rod tip.

To further maximize performance, Kigan stainless steel rings have been fitted to the blanks, ensuring unstoppable power without increasing weight.

The Fuji DPS reel seat and EVA handle complete the TX-7 range, which you can use with confidence even in the most difficult situations.
