The TX Extreme Spod Marker rod combines lightness with considerable casting power that will allow you to reach the target area Fishing chosen with spods of all sizes. When using an indicator float, the sensitivity offers excellent feedback of the underwater characteristics.
The TX Extreme Spod Marker is the perfect rod for those who practice a lot of spodding, especially at long distances. The low weight and powerful butt section allow it to generate exceptionally high top speeds when casting and cope with the largest spod sizes, without being overly stressed.
For marker use, the lightweight blank offers exceptional feel right in the hands for accurate searching of underwater obstacles and for accurate searching of the right depth there are bands of depth markers on the butt section.
The High Pressure Carbon (HPC) blank puts the power in your hands and features a 3K carbon coating up to the fifth rail for added strength. The casting action is very similar to the Intensity actions of the Tribal carp rods, combining extreme power at the bottom with a responsive tip section for faster casting recovery. The result is a great combination for your spodding and marking needs.
The addition of the very light PacBay CSV Minima guides (braid safe) really improves performance and you will immediately notice the responsiveness of the rod when using a float.
Depending on your preferences, you can choose between two models: 12ft and 13ft. Both are rated with a 5lb test curve and deliver all the power you could want.
