The mid-priced Yasei Pike Casting range has been specifically developed for targeting larger pike, using large (size 300) or round profile baitcasting reels, in combination with extra large lures. Capable of handling the biggest baits, you'll never feel pressured with a Yasei Pike Casting rod in your arsenal.
Yasei Pike Casting rods are real heavyweights. They are built to cast and retrieve the largest lures around. By the very nature of the rods' design and intended use, you know you're holding a rod capable of taming the biggest beasts. These rods are bigger, bolder and better and when you hook that cross pike, you know why. They are not for the faint of heart.
The lightest rod in the range is the 2.50 m XH (Extra Heavy), with a casting range between 40 and 100 g. The intermediate rod is the 2.30 m XXH (Extra Extra Heavy), capable of handling bait weighing between 56 and 170 g, while the most robust rod is the 2.60 m Extreme, capable of working with bait weighing between 120 and 270 g.
All rods cast very well, but you need to use them with correctly sized baits to get the best results. For boat anglers, all three models are great big-water trolling rods, with the Extreme being a great option for deep lakes, where the chances of catching larger pike are greatest.
As you can imagine, rods capable of casting the largest lures need to be sturdy and powerful, and all Yasei Pike Casting models use a high modulus carbon blank constructed with Hi-Power X and Nano Alloy technology. This creates immense drag and reduces blank twist when casting and fighting extreme sized fish. When it comes to power, these rods are top notch and can handle just about anything you throw at them.
To further increase overall performance, the rods are fitted with the latest generation Fuji Alconite K-type guides that are lightweight and extremely durable.
In line with the high-quality design, a Strong ACS real seat is fitted for lighter casting rods and a Fuji PSS handheld reel seat for heavier rods. This maximizes hand grip and leverage when fishing heavy baits on the heaviest rods.
